CEILING FAN PROTOTYPE

The goal of this project is to research materials and develop new and exciting ways to adapt these materials to existing products, giving them the same functional characteristics or to make them better. The idea behind this fan was to have 8 flexible blades rise up and rotate much like a regular fan would.  The fan blades would be made out of thinly sliced bamboo. This material was chosen for its rigid and flexible nature.

GRILL USER TESTING

Below is a series of user testing I conducted to determine the optimal size for a small fan powered grill. Foam core, steel and glass bowls, were used to give me an understanding of what issues a person might face when using grills of varying sizes and how best I could resolve them. A report on my findings can be found below.

SOUP SPOON RIG
